One more view of Stonehenge. Experts believe Stonehenge was built to serve as an astronomical observatory.
The famous "Big Ben". It is NOT the tower, but the bell inside the tower. Another interesting point is that there is also a prison cell in the tower for any Member of Parliment who transgresses against Parlimentary privilege. Last used for this purpose in 1880.
A guard on duty at Buckingham Palace. The palace is the main home of the Queen and has been since Queen Victoria.

Stationed in England from 1951 to 1955, I met my wife in 1951 and married her in early 1954. This was our first "home", and where our son spent the first 6 or 7 months of his life. Located in South Harrow, a suburb of London.
