Buckingham Palace
The Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace. This occurs daily at 11:30 A.M. (summer) except when it is raining.
More marching during the Changing of the Guard ceremony. There are three other locations where similar ceremonies are held.
The gardens at Kensington Palace former home of Princess Di. The birthplace of Queen Victoria.
A portion of St James Park, near Buckingham Palace. A very popular place for tourists and office workers. It is famous for its views, the waterfowl, and the flower displays.
A view of the Tower Bridge. Often erroneously called the London Bridge.
A slightly different view of Tower Bridge. Built in the 1800's as the most seaward bridge in London.
Westminster Abbey. Over 900 years old and still a church dedicated to regular worship services.
A portion of the 630 acre Hyde Park. It has a perimeter of 4 miles and is a London Royal Park. In its confines is Serpetine Lake where fishing, boating, and swimming are allowed.
A field of wild flowers somewhere in the South of England.
The mysterious "Stonehenge". Seems to have been constructed in 3 phases between 2200 BC and 1200 BC. Giant sandstones weighing up to 50 tons were used.
Another view of Stonehenge. Stones were dragged from Marlborough Downs (20 miles distant) when wheeled vehicles were unknown. Some small stones bluish in color came from Southwest Wales, 100 miles away.
